Not necessarily. Get in touch before booking and I can advise on instrument hire, sizing and sensible first purchases. For younger players, choosing the right size is especially important.

Yes. Lessons can begin with no previous musical experience. We will cover instrument setup, posture, sound production, rhythm and reading music at a comfortable pace.

Yes. I teach children, teenagers and adults, including people returning to music after many years away.

Most lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The right length depends on age, experience, concentration and goals.

Yes. We can plan repertoire, technique, sight-reading, aural preparation, mock performances and strategies for managing nerves.

Consistency matters more than long sessions. We will agree on a realistic practice plan that fits your life and focuses on a small number of clear priorities.

Lessons are held in Bicker, Lincolnshire. Full location details are shared once a lesson has been arranged.
